Shannon Holman Reflects on Orion's First 10 Years

We're sharing a copy of a recent message Shannon Holman, Orion's President and Co-Founder, posted on her LinkedIn page. 

This past week, I found myself walking back to my office from the lunchroom and noticed our engineering staff, across multiple offices, collaborating in our open workspace, from new hires to senior staff, deep in discussion on one of our airport design projects.

I paused in awe and simply observed for a moment. It was one of those unexpected, surreal experiences.

And then it hit me, this is exactly what I dreamed of when we started Orion 10 years ago. Engineers huddled together, exchanging ideas, challenging one another, and developing solutions as a team.

I’m incredibly proud of our people. We’ve worked hard to get here through learning, growing, and most importantly, having fun while doing it.  We’re equally grateful to our clients who have trusted us with their projects and supported our journey. 

In the end, it’s the people we surround ourselves with that make our work truly meaningful. 

Happy 10-year Anniversary, Orion!  Buckle your seatbelt – this flight is just getting started!
