Recently Completed: Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport South Ramp Taxiway and Ramp Improvements

This project extended an existing taxilane to the new General Aviation (GA) apron with aircraft tie-downs and new T-Hangar buildings. The apron was designed to accommodate the existing GA fleet mix including Group I and Group II aircraft as well as future planned expansion to accommodate Group III aircraft. A new public access road with utilities, including waterline, fire water, landscape irrigation, and electrical for street lighting, was designed to replace public access cut-off by the taxilane extension.
